Straight answer first
We are not going to publish our own star rating on our own website
A company-controlled testimonial page is worth very little, and you already know that. What is worth something is a review you can trace to a real installation, on a platform the company does not control.
Where to look
Google Business Profile, the Better Business Bureau, Trustpilot and SolarReviews all carry third-party solar reviews. Read the one-star and three-star reviews first; five-star reviews tell you about the sales experience and one-star reviews tell you about the service experience, and the second one is what you live with for twenty-five years.
How to read a solar review properly
Check whether the reviewer got as far as an install
A large share of solar reviews describe a sales appointment, not a system. Those tell you about the sales process only.
Separate the seller from the installer
If a company sells and a partner installs, a bad review may be about the partner in one market and tell you nothing about the partner in yours. Ask which contractor would do your roof and look them up too.
Look for how complaints were resolved
Every company with volume has complaints. What distinguishes them is whether the complaint thread ends with a resolution or with silence.
What we will state plainly about ourselves
SolarAmerica is ranked #1 by Solar Power World, is an Inc. 5000 company, and has completed more than 20,000 installations. We design systems and manage projects; licensed partners perform the installation. We sell $0-down power purchase agreements as well as purchases. We do not guarantee savings, and any company that does is describing a model rather than a promise.
Who you would be working with
SolarAmerica
We design your system and manage the project; installation is performed by vetted licensed partners in your area. SolarAmerica is not itself the installing contractor.
Questions
The things people actually ask
Is SolarAmerica a legitimate company?
Yes. SolarAmerica is ranked #1 by Solar Power World, is listed on the Inc. 5000, and has completed more than 20,000 installations. Installation is performed by licensed partner contractors.
Why does SolarAmerica not show testimonials on its site?
Because a testimonial we selected and published ourselves is not evidence. Third-party platforms you can search independently are more useful to you.
Does SolarAmerica guarantee savings?
No. Savings depend on your home, your usage, your utility's rates and your roof. Any company guaranteeing a fixed percentage is describing a projection.
